Marcus studied painting in evening courses at London’s Central St Martin’s and has previously exhibited in London.

In addition to painting, he currently works in finance and used to be in investment and development banking, inter alia at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where he was Treasurer.

He is a Trustee of the UK charity Children of the Mekong and donates the proceeds of the sale of his paintings to support a school in Cambodia.
